What you'll need

Base coat, selected gel colors, cat-eye magnet, detail tools for the listed accents, glossy top coat, curing lamp and standard nail-prep tools.

Step by step

1. Prep and shape the nails into an even short square.
2. Apply base coat and a sheer nude-pink foundation; cure each layer.
3. Apply pink cat-eye gel and position the magnetic shimmer before curing.
4. Add a second cat-eye layer where extra depth is needed and cure.
5. Draw the accent lines with no-wipe chrome gel, cure, then rub gold chrome onto the selected details.
6. Brush away excess chrome and seal the full design with glossy top coat.
